Description:

As a Dental Office Assistant in Bakersfield, California you will perform a variety of duties including preparing the patient for treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping the patient, and preparing the treatment room for the patient by following strict protocols. Dental Office Assistants are also charged with providing information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests. Other responsibilities include maintaining a dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of administrative duties including but not limited to preparing treatment room for patient by following strict protocols, prepares patient for treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient, provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests, maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
