As a Pharmacy Assistant in Bakersfield, California you will be responsible for administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting patients, and entering/updating information in databases. Pharmacy Assistants also organize medications for pharmacists to dispense, refer inquiries to the pharmacists, maintain inventory, and prepare reports. Pharmacy Assistants are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area and complying with procedures and policies.
